Although I wasn't sure if it would work or not, I must admit that I am impressed! Gnats in the summer have always been a problem for us. That shouldn't be a problem anymore, in my opinion! This technology is excellent! I will be probably buying more soon.

I bought this item because I had a problem with fruit flies in my kitchen. After setting it up and putting apple cider vinegar in a small water bottle cap in the bottom of the trap, it was turned on and left running overnight. It had already caught a dozen or so of these pesky bugs by morning. I've tried bug zappers, but this trap works better. I think this is a good way to catch fruit flies. Also, don't forget to pour bleach down the drain of your kitchen sink at night, when you won't be using it, and cover the drains. Most of the time, these bugs live in the pipes under the sink drain. And don't let them drink or breed in places where there is standing water.

How scary is it that I found so many bugs on the sticky pads? This works like a charm.

This bug catcher really works! I'm embarrassed to show the picture to anyone. We live in Hawaii, and a lot of bugs come into our home through the air handler and drains. They'd drive me crazy. It's been 5 days. I started an organic garden, but it's hard to keep them in order right now because of the heat and humidity. So, between my incense and this, I've only seen one flying around.

When I let my dogs out or step onto the back patio, it's disgusting because there are flies everywhere. I'm glad I don't own my home, because if I did, I'd be furious! Sometimes there are fruit flies in my apartment, and I've been trying to find a way to get rid of them. I wasn't sure if this would really work, so I was hesitant to buy it, but I'm so glad I did! I've found that it works best at night and when there are no fans or air conditioners in the area where you put it.

The fan's high pitch is the only thing I don't like about the product. Once it caught most of the bugs and some I didn't even know I had, I only wear it at night so I don't hear the pitch. I put it next to the AeroGardens, so I had to change when the AeroGardens got light so there would be some darkness at night. Yes, it does catch bugs, but you can't tell unless you look at the bottom of the thing.

I bought one for each room of my apartment. How well they work is amazing. This is a purchase you won't regret.

This one is a big step up from the last one I bought. This one has a night mode that only turns on when it's dark. My other brand stays on all the time, which will definitely burn out the motor fast.

We were doubtful and slow to buy it, but we're glad we did. If you put it in a dark place, it will catch mosquitoes (see the picture). I'll use the sheets from a lint roller instead of the sticky sheets that the company sells because I think they cost way too much for what they are. This new type of small mosquitoes bites my wife, but they don't bother me. This is much better than citronella candles because it gets rid of them instead of just making them uncomfortable. We really like this product for getting rid of mosquitoes.

I would occasionally see a few gnats flying around the house, but I never thought I had a problem with them. This thing catches so many gnats and has even caught flies and mosquitoes that got in the house. Buying it is a good idea. At first, you may not see many bugs getting caught, but give it a few days. It's also true that it works better at night.

After three days, almost all of the fruit flies had been caught. My only suggestion is that when you need to change the sticky pad, make sure there are no fruit flies still flying around in the device.

It works better at night. If you put them near your biggest problem, they will go right to it. They stick to the bottom of the device, where there is a sticky pad.

On day one, I turned this thing on and put it on the counter in the bathroom. When I checked it the next day, the sticky pad had about 20 of these muthabuggers stuck to it, dead as a doorknob (I think that's a saying, right?)! The next morning? Twenty more of the muthabuggers are done. In short, if you have a problem with biting bugs, get this bug-biting thing and you won't be disappointed!

Since I live in San Diego, California, there aren't many bugs or mosquitos around. Some nights it doesn't catch anything, but other nights it catches a lot. I love that I can kill without using poison. It only works at night and makes a low-level purple hum and light. It has two settings, but the higher setting is always what we use. It's easy to put together. Take the paper off of one of the sticky boards, stick it where you want it, and plug it in. You have to use it in a dark room, but it works even if there are some soft lights on in the room. We've been having better luck lately when we put it on the floor in our bedroom instead of the dresser.

Had a gnat problem. Found out that the kids forgot to take the water container out of the floor mop and were getting a lot of gnats. It seems like most bug catchers like this get mixed reviews, so I wasn't sure if I should buy it. But I've used it for a few weeks and it's better than I thought it would be. We have a problem with gnats and mosquitoes outside, and when we open the screen door, they come in. I started by putting it on a table outside (in a covered area) near where the gnats seemed to gather. Until it got dark, then I turned it on. It was covered in the morning, and by the next day, it was covered so much that the new ones that got sucked in had nowhere to stick. Since it's impossible to get rid of all bugs outside, we've started using it inside when bugs get in. It does catch them inside, too, but you have to turn it on when the room is dark, or else the light won't attract as many of them. Not hard to clean out; just open the bottom over the trash can, slide a new sticky trap in place, and you're done. Only two small requests. I wish the traps didn't cost as much and were bigger so I could catch even more. The price was well worth it, and I might buy a second one.

I live in Southern California, and for the first time, there are mosquitos that are very fast and sharp. They get their name because they hang around near the floor. So I put my traps on the floor, and you guessed it, those sticky glueboards grab their dirty little feet and won't let go. Completely Awesome!! I just moved to Texas, and since my apartment is near a river, there are naturally a lot of bugs and mosquitoes flying around. I put the Katchy in my kitchen, and it fixed the problem right away. No more bug bites or bugs flying around and landing on my fruit or anywhere else. Strongly suggest.

Excellent item! The picture I attached shows how it looked after 24 hours. I tried other things, like the little traps made of dish soap and vinegar, but nothing worked. Aside from this, I've never caught a bug with anything else. I open it and enjoy seeing all the dead bugs inside. They've been a problem for me for far too long. I put this thing next to the sink, and every night I get some. I also have a cupboard where I keep my trash can. When the door is closed, it is always dark inside the cupboard. Any time of day, I can put this in the cupboard and quickly get a lot of bugs. I also tried putting vinegar or small pieces of fruit inside this trap, but that didn't help. It seems to work best when I just turn it on and let it go.

This product says that it will work in what, three days? I was able to use it RIGHT AWAY. I have a problem with gnats because I live in a bad house in the south, where it's hot and humid, and if I leave even a little bit of something wet out, they come in swarms. I put the device on the lowest setting and went shopping. When I came back, a few had already been put in. I looked at it every now and then, and each time I did, I saw more and more. The first night I plugged it in, it caught those little die-offs (much to my amazement). There they were on the sticky disk, dead and dying. Oh, what joy! The fan is as quiet as a mouse. Way better than I thought something like this would work. It won't get rid of them all, but if a fruit fly is drawn to it and flies close to the top, it will eat it. The manufacturer said it wouldn't catch a house fly, but to my surprise, it did. I like this.

All kinds of small bugs get caught in this machine. I've had a few mosquitos, flies, and fruit flies. After our big storm, there were lots of tiny flies that looked like fruit flies. Most of them are caught by this device.

We've had this for a while, and it works great as long as the vents and fan are clean and most of the lights in the room are turned off at night. Since we keep it in the kitchen, the oils from cooking tend to make it get dirty faster than if we kept it in the living room. But it works great in all rooms, and we are surprised at how big some of the bugs it catches are!
